Flowers
The flowers we planted on Mother's Day are thriving. The blue lobelias are so much more impressive in person. The neighbors were so kind as to give us the orange dahlias in the pot. By the way, if you double click on any photo you can view all the photos in a slideshow.
Our Big Backyard
We are so lucky to be able to walk right out our door into Jackson State Forest. So many trails to explore...

Progress
All that wallpaper peeling was just an archealogical excavation... we ended up tearing out the dry wall for a fresh start. The insulation was old and lame, so we decided to replace it. Cheryl and I accomplished much demolition. We eventually came to terms with the bigness of the project relative to our time and abilities. So, we found someone to do the work for us. And now it's underway! In a few weeks we'll have our room finished. We've got some bamboo flooring already ordered for the final touch on the room. But now, here's the progress in the bedroom re-do.
